Helping Neurodiverse and IDD adults learn, create, and build confidence in a working studio

Real studio. Real tools. Real creative joy.

ISMLit provides free, hands-on media literacy and production experiences that support creative confidence, practical workforce development, and personal expression for adults in the IDD and Neurodiverse community. Our clients explore cameras, microphones, green screen, video effects, music production, performance, and storytelling in a supportive real-world studio environment.

Our programs are designed to be welcoming, hands-on, and accessible. Clients do not just watch a demonstration. They step into the studio, try the tools, see themselves on screen, and experience how audio and video production works.

Green Screen Content

Whether simple talking head videos, music videos, or somewhere in-between, clients learn to work with a green screen environment. They learn terminology and the skills need to succeed. From creation, to production, in front of, or behind the camera, our clients develop the skills to find their voice and share it with the world.

Audio Production

Whether making music, podcasts, voice-over, or even foley, clients learn what it takes to record and produce sounds of all kinds. Learning software, gear, and terminology leads to better chances of success.

Stop Motion and Photography

Learning camera terms and techniques helps our clients find, and express, their vision. Product shoots, miniatures, stop-motion, fashion, and promotional shots are all examples of skills they can learn. With follow up we will help them build, and share, a portfolio, video, or even a career.

“Our son gained so much confidence while learning important skills.”
